Connor Woolpert is the founder of Adventure Aide. An app designed to help users find unique adventures in their city, it’s connecting people and getting them to step outside.

Born and raised in San Luis Obispo, CA, he has always had the itch to “do more” since he was a child. With basketball being one of his earliest passions, he was heads down trying to push himself to his greatest potential. He attended San Diego State University to play ball but having failed both a drug and physical test, his father being diagnosed with cancer at the time, he packed his bags and headed back home.

What was a dark period for him ended up being one of the best challenges he had to overcome. He worked out and read books daily, kept to himself and landed on this idea of Adventure Aide. Having been someone who had enjoyed the outdoors since he was a child, he wanted to create a platform that gave people the chance to do things with just a scroll on their cell phone. Currently available in LA, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and soon San Diego, they look to take this App to as many cities as possible.

In this Episode Connor discusses the importance of riding the wave, writing down our priorities, surround yourself with people that are smarter than you, taking ownership & making adjustments for the future, his #1 bucket list item to climb Mt. Everest, the I against I mentality and why we must remove the noise.
