Thane Marcus Ringler is an entrepreneur, collaborator, speaker, a host of The Up & Comers Show podcast, author behind From Here To There: A Quarter-Life Perspective On The Path To Mastery and an ex-professional golfer.
Born and raised in Hutchinson, Kansas he first picked up a golf club at the age of 3. Falling in love with the sport he headed west to The Masters University in Santa Clarita, CA where he was the captain of the golf team for 2 years. After graduating, he spent the next 3.5 years working on his game until he faced an injury that left him with no other option but to make a career change into everything that he has going on today.
One of the biggest lessons he learned from the game of golf is to take ownership of who you’re, what you’re doing and where you’re trying to go. Through his podcast he hopes to provide value to the up & comers of the world and help them learn how to live a good life. His book From Here To There provides a framework to help those traveling down the path of mastery more efficiently and effectively. He also coaches, consults and creates for those in need of his service.
In this episode Thane discusses how clearing our headspace is crucial, although a lot of things are out of our control we can determine our preparation & our mindset, the importance of discipline of doing what you don’t want to do, why we’re always better with teammates and why we should never fear dead ends.
